| Bio: |  Some segments still currently under construction. General Information Name: Ianto Jones Age: 26 Currently employed by Torchwood as the Head Archivist at Torchwood Two, Glasgow. Duties include archiving all information pertaining to Torchwood and its personel, the Doctor, and alien artifacts/lifeforms/contact, assisting the public in accessing Torchwood's public archives, providing information and disinformation to the media about alien contact, providing vital information from the archives for the labs in Glasgow, London, and Cardiff, and make coffee for himself and his staff (as he doesn't trust any of them to make it properly). Deliberate, precise, fastidious, with a dry sense of humour, prefers coffee to tea, enjoys scotch, is particular about the Archives, enjoys tweaking the sensibilities of others. Quirks Ianto is very fastidious about his personal appearence, always dressing in a suit when he comes to work, even though when working in the archives he often has to take the suit to the dry-cleaners that same day. He insists his direct underlings observe strict codes of personal hygeine, and while he won't demand the same formality of dress from them, he doesn't allow casual dress in the archives - slacks and a button-down shirt are a must. Ianto's office, and most of his house are highly organized and kept neat and clean. His personal space (not his bedroom) isn't nearly as neat or organized, and he doesn't allow anyone into that particular room of his home. Fears Under Construction Likes Under Construction Dislikes Under Construction Ianto isn't picky about his partner's gender, and he's not inclined to have a monogamous lifestyle, though he does have a steady girlfriend (Lisa Hallett - Torchwood One, London; Intelligence Division). He's had relations with other Torchwood employees, including his immediate superior, Emma Hartman, as well as Jack Harkness. He prefers to maintain a certain discretion about any other liasons he has had, for the benefit of others. Turn Ons: power-play (he prefers being in control in most cases, there are some individuals with whom he cedes control), blood-play, breath-play, death & return to life (solely applicable to when he's with Jack, or with the appropriate simulation technology), potential for getting caught Turn Offs: lack of personal hygeine meeting his standards Height: 1.8m (6ft) Currently under construction. I'm playing Ianto as from my Lieutenant to Chaos AU, in which Rose dies, Jack ends up first at the end of the universe, then back in the early 20th century on Earth with the Master, and they eventually take over Torchwood. Ianto's originally hired at Torchwood One in London, and works with the IT department. He catches the attention of Emma Hartman (Head of R&D at the time), and she makes note to keep an eye on his career. In 2001, she has him transferred to Glasgow, and puts him in charge of updating the archives to a primarily electronic format. In this AU, Torchwood is founded after events at the Torchwood estate similar to those in canon, excepting that Rose is not there, and the Doctor isn't banished, or listed as an enemy as part of Torchwood's charter. I've not decided what to do about the spatial breach, void ship, and Daleks, other than the Master is less likely to make the same mistakes as Yvonne Hartman and Torchwood in canon. | |||||||||
